Both of our kids take to Connecticut as if it were home. I'm still in a bit of shock that neither of them registered the time change after flying across country; they immediately adjusted and had a ball visiting GiGi, Grandpa and the rest of the family.
For Sloane, the secret might have been the jumpy car that Aunt Chris sent over for her visit. She was delighted every time we plopped her into that thing; it was brilliant!

Southwest must have realized that we were happy in Connecticut because -- after a day at the airport, on and off the plane -- they canceled our flight and sent us back to GiGi and Grandpa's house. Good thing our kids are good travelers; they didn't mind so much that it took us two full days to get home. Seriously, they both were awesome and adaptable, enjoying the sights and sounds of the various airports and planes we inhabited for two days. It turns out Andy and I were the only ones who got cranky!
