Tummy time -- no way!

My guess is that Riley will be an early talker and a late walker -- rare for a boy. He likes to babble ("a-goo!" being his favorite word), but the boy does not like to move around a lot. Getting him to do tummy time, as pictured below, is like pulling teeth. Well, sweet baby, maybe you are off the hook. It occurred to me that we do tummy time to strengthen your muscles so you can turn over and crawl. But who said we want you to turn over and crawl? I am perfectly content with you staying put (and out of trouble) for now. No need to rush. So, while your papa and I talk with you all day long to nurture your language skills, we are less likely to insist upon tummy time. Here's to a few more months of limited mobility! :-)
