Pumpkin patch

Riley and his big cousin Rene enjoyed the heck out of an awesome little municipal pumpkin patch last weekend (your tax dollars at work, La Verne residents!).

 

Highlights for Riley included the petting zoo (in the background of the picture below), the baby chick incubator and the tractor ride through the orange groves (shown below with his Grandma). He also spent a lot of time running around the pumpkin patch identifying which pumpkins were "biggest" and "smallest." It was a great start to pumpkin season (already followed today with hayride number two at another patch back home). Bring on the gourds!
