I love our friends

Recently I had an absolutely craptastic week. Loss, extreme work schedule, sick kid, you name it cuz it piled on that week. But something great came out of the week: I learned how incredibly awesome our friends are. Several offered to watch Riley after work, and we took two of them up on that offer. Here's Riley, sippin' away and happy as could be with his pal, Neala, over at her pad one night.

Dozens of friends called, emailed and offered support. And another friend -- who clearly knows me well -- sent over six hand-selected bottles of different micro-brews. What a guy! Sure it was a bad week, but it was greatly improved by love and support from our friends. And fortunately, that lasts a lot longer than one week.
