38 weeks

Sloane's 38th week, June 7-13, was a challenge. She cried throughout the days and refused to sleep at night, clinging onto us for hours on end. Then we fired her nanny and everything changed. This was the week that I learned Sloane is an emotionally intelligent little being. It appears she was telling us how unhappy her new nanny was making her, begging us to make a change. We heard her. Within a couple days of us letting the nanny go, Sloane was back to normal: happy by day, sleeping at night. Whew! Thanks, little girl, for telling us what you needed.
