17 weeks

On Sloane's 17 week birthday, she had her four month well baby check up. She remains at the 75th percentile across the board for height (24.25 inches), weight (14.5 pounds) and head circumference (42.75). The doctor remarked a number of times how happy I seemed. I chalked it up to Sloane's awesome sleep schedule (most nights she sleeps 12 hours straight; a bad night is still 8 or 9 hours) and her easy-going personality. This girl is simply content, an attribute I hope she'll maintain throughout her life.  

Can you see the band-aids on her legs? She got her shots that day and, let's just say she did not remain content. She had a rough day. Fortunately, Grandma showed up to give her extra love.
