Bubble!
Riley's Grandpa is visiting from back East this weekend and observed this morning that Riley is on the precipice of being verbal. No less than an hour later, Riley uttered one of his first words: "bubble!" A really cool man at the playground had several bubble machines going and showered the little one in magical orbs. I didn't catch the audio until Riley was a little removed from the bubble action, but here you go:
So far, Riley's got "uh-oh," "ball" and "bubble." Can't wait to hear what's next!
I just want to snuggle with him and carry on a conversation. Cannot wait to see you guys.
ReplyDeleteI dreamt last night that Riley awoke today speaking full sentences. I know it won't happen overnight, but we are really excited around here by all the linguistic leaps he's taken lately. He's really starting to understand what we say, signing more often and trying to say words. I'm 90% sure he's saying "Grandpa." This is a great week!
