Future leader

September 20 was our day to celebrate one whole year with our favorite future leader: Sloaney Boney Macaroni!


All summer she was obsessed with musical instruments so we shared a music party with her birthday pal, Charlie, and all the other one-year-olds in her life. Charlie's mom, Chesna, made the most adorable banners celebrating each month of the birthday kids' first years.

Each kid took home egg shakers and jingle bell bracelets, but I think Sloane was most excited about the all-you-can-eat pouch bucket.

 The musician sang funny songs for the kids and brought tons of instruments for them to play.

Sloane loved the chance to try out new instruments.

And she got to show off a glimpse of her future self. CEO? Senator? School superintendent? Only time will tell for sure, but I feel pretty confident that this independent gal is going to soar.
