Weekend in the neighborhood
The weekend before we went to LA for Easter was a pretty mellow one for us. With a lot of travel on our Spring calendar, it was nice for Riley to spend a quiet weekend at home casually connecting with his chums.

He spent four hours at the canyon on Saturday, watching Murphy, Leo and Ethan play soccer, taking a hike with mama and Sloane then exploring the new playground with Nate and Jack. That night he had dinner and a sleep-over date with Sahra. The following day he was back to the canyon for some adventuring with Neala.
After getting ice cream with Evie that afternoon, we had batting practice at our house. Evie is a natural!
Listed out this might seem like a lot of activity and many friends to see in one weekend, but given how close Riley is with all these kiddos -- they are like cousins -- and how nearby they all live, it really just felt like a casual, happy romp through the neighborhood. It was a beautiful, relaxed weekend, and we could use a few more of those!
