Christmas day

The secrets to a 3-year-old's heart: planes, trains and marbles. Riley couldn't wait to test out the planes he received on Christmas morning, playing out the scenes in "the whole movie Planes" which Santa also brought him.






























Marble run! Just like his older friend, Luke, has. This thing is really awesome, actually, allowing for creativity and the development of engineering skills.

He was also thrilled to receive an Angry Birds Luke Sykwalker telepod (not because he plays Angry Birds -- he doesn't -- but because they are Cousine Rene's favorite toys).


















Riley's first Transformer. Thankfully, GiGi found one without a gun (are "boy" toys way more violent than I remember or is that just me?).

Ms. Sloane was mostly an observer this year, but she sure appreciated the baby toys her grandparents and Aunt Anney picked out for her. The more noise the better.
