Push me, Pull you
Riley may not know it yet, but he has got a lot of friends. He's got several big brothers and sisters in Sacramento and some play buddies over in the East Bay.
One of his friends in the SF Mission is Lucas whose mama Emily and I worked on a Congressional campaign together way back when we were undergrads in Claremont. Here's Lucas welcoming Riley to the Mish during a recent play date:
Riley frequently goes on walks with the other babies in the neighborhood moms group. Recently, his friend Jack introduced him to the bucket swings at our local playground. Riley loved his first round of push me, pull you.

Jack is two months older than Riley and certainly a few pounds bigger. Still, at this point the boys look remarkably similar. We hope to get to see if they continue to look alike years from now. Of course, I doubt they'll still be sharing a bucket swing then. But for now, share away boys. That's what friends are for.
