Connecticut visit

Over Halloween weekend we loaded up Riley for his second major trip, this time to Connecticut.

Andy's parents arranged a lovely party for the family to meet the first kid of Andy's generation.

Because it was Halloween, we couldn't resist getting Riley into a costume. Andy's mom actually made this tiger costume, styled after Max in Where the Wild Things Are.

The best part? This is the costume Andy wore for his first Halloween. His crafty mama saved it all these years. Maybe Riley's kid will wear it some day!
