Sonograms

Andy and I have truly enjoyed our two sonograms. The first one, at 9.5 weeks, made the pregnancy suddenly real. The baby was just a little jelly bean without a lot of features yet, but we were thrilled regardless. The best part was that the first image we saw was of the baby waving to us. "Hi Mom and Dad!" We'll take that as a sign that the little squirt is a social butterfly. The image above is from the sonogram at 11.5 weeks. The tech was great; she spent about half an hour showing us all of the baby's features. It was so nice to hold hands and take our first good look at the little cutie who is going to become such an important part of our lives.

We have more sonogram pics but don't have access to a scanner (we can thank the iphone for this shot). We'll get the others up later if we can.
