Downtown

Inexplicably, Riley's current favorite song is the old classic, Downtown. He especially loves to sing it when we drive toward San Francisco's downtown. Last week, he taught it to his buddy Neala, as you will see in these two very short video clips. Please excuse the schreechiness at the end of the first one. The emphatic eyebrow in the second one captures Riley's verve for the song.

    O M G....I just had a flash of him in sparkle tights, long blonde, shaggy hair, open shirt with gold chains, strutting like Mick Jaggar on stage!!!!

    I think he might have taught it to Fiona too. She got suprisingly excited when we started talking about going downtown the other day. And then of course we had to sing the song :) either that or it is a toddler cult classic.
