First tooth
The tooth has landed! After 10.5 months, Riley finally has his first tooth. It arrived 4 months later than average and 7 months later than I expected it considering I got my own at 3 months. And as a bonus surprise, it is NOT one of his front teeth. Perhaps this is the first sign that our boy in unconventional, teething to the beat of his own drummer.
You can hardly see it here, but his first little nubbin of a tooth broke through on the top right hand side, one space off from center. Actually looking at this picture it appears that the front right tooth might not be far behind. So maybe he'll have a right side pair that can work in tandem. Corn on the cob anyone?
The best news for all of us is that Riley didn't sweat the new tooth one bit. No sleep disruption, fever or fits. He handled his first tooth like a rock star.
