Ski bunnies

As much as I'd prefer to keep my special snowflake off the dangerous slopes, I can see the writing on the wall (and the skiis on his feet).

When Riley was delivering his Valentines, his friend Evie showed him the skiis she's rented for the upcoming weekend. The boy was hooked, telling me several times that night the he's going to "ski in the snow." Oh brother, whatever Evie does Riley wants to do, too. And Daddy is only too pleased to indulge this request. Gulp -- I'm going to be one nail-biting mama back at the lodge!

P.S. Isn't Evie adorable? She declared that she'll be skiing in her tutu this weekend. Ha!
