Two favorites

This picture, taken this morning at day care, shows Riley engaging in two of his favorite activities of late.

1) He loves peeking through curtains. At home, he delights in tugging and poking at the living room curtains to get the best vantage point out the front window.

2) He prefers to crawl with objects in his hands. He can usually be heard crawling along our wood floors with pacifiers or hard plastic balls in his hands. As a result, we've taken to calling him "Peg leg."

Of course, it's possible that I'm interpretting this picture all wrong. It may be that Riles is simply emulating his dad's love of tents and croissants. Perhaps it's time for pops to take the boy camping and whip up some of his famous campfire crescent rolls. Mmmmm...
