Baby jail

Riley's room was converted to a baby jail this weekend when Andy installed a baby gate at the door. At first, Riley, who loves to pull himself up to standing, thought it was awesome.

He was thrilled to have something stable to hold onto while practicing his new skill. Within moments, though, he realized that he was trapped.

"Let me out!!!!!!!"

Not to worry, he quickly outsmarted the wardens. He and I were playing in his room when all the sudden he high-tailed it out into the hallway. Before I could call for mercy, he was slamming the gate closed on me.

Watch out, San Francisco. The monkeys are running the zoo!
